Financial Services Compensation Scheme The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has been reviewed and some changes were implemented on 1 January 2011. Deposit Guarantee Limit Increase The deposit compensation limit increased on 1st January from £50,000 to £85,000 per person, per authorised firm (£170,000 for a joint account).
